Bunnie
Watercolor
This painting depicts the P-51 Mustang “Bunnie” piloted by Roscoe Brown of the illustrious “Red Tails”. Brown was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and among his numerous wartime accomplishments is is said to have been among the first Allied fighter pilots to take down a German Messerschmidt 262 jet fighter. In my painting I show him moments after hitting a German Foke-Wolfe 190.
